On April 28th, 2025, DIFO held its annual general assembly, where, among other things, elections were held to the board of directors for the upcoming three years. Andreas Holbak Espersen was elected here.
Andreas Holbak Espersen comes from DI Digital, where he has served as Head of Digitalization Policy since 2021, and as Branch Director since November 2024. In addition to this, he has worked at the Agency for Digital Government on public-sector collaboration on digitalization, the government's national cyber strategies, and was responsible for the government's digitalization partnership.
Andreas joins DIFO's board of directors with solid experience in digitalization and has in-depth knowledge of strategic and political work with new technology in business and society.
"I look forward to contribute with my experience and views to the Danish Internet Forum, and to help shape the security and development of the Danish part of the internet," says Andreas, and continues:
"We are facing a crucial year where Denmark must cement its position as a digital forrunner, and where we must ensure a robust infrastructure for the benefit of society as a whole."
With his entry into the board of directors, Andreas Holbak Espersen will work together with the other board members to ensure that .dk is among the safest domains in the world.
