Punktum dk has been the administrator of .dk since 1999, and we would of course like to continue to be so.
If you or your organization has an opinion on the question, we think you should consider submitting a consultation response to the Danish Digital Agency before March 14.
Good and safe management of .dk is essential for Danish society, and it is important that the right body takes on the task. We therefore believe that as many people as possible from the internet community should make their opinion known.
At Punktum dk, we have had 100% uptime on the .dk domain for the past 25 years, thereby ensuring that all Danes have been able to access websites and e-mail addresses on the Danish part of the domain name system without interruption.
In addition, we are working to make it as safe as possible to be online in Denmark, and in recent years we have been behind a number of initiatives that enable both domain owners and internet users to better protect themselves and others, such as by using tjekpånettet.dk and sikkerpånettet.dk.
We plan to continue our work on online security. For example, we would like to educate both IT people, students and internet users in general about how we can all help make internet use safer. In addition, we would like to expand and improve the tools that we make available.
