As of today, 1 July 2026, we at Punktum dk are changing the way we work. This means that .dk domain names will be administered through an approved registrar — and no longer directly with us.
Why are we doing this?
One point of contact, one invoice: No more separate invoices from both Punktum dk and your registrar. Everything will be gathered in one place — with the registrar. This will make things much clearer and easier for you as a domain owner.
Enhanced security: The administration of your .dk domain name will be changed so that we can focus even more sharply on the core IT infrastructure and security behind the .dk zone.
Punktum dk’s goal is for .dk to be one of the safest domain zones in the world, with minimal abuse. Achieving this requires continuous new initiatives. That is why, in the future, we will also be placing slightly more requirements on those who act as registrars of .dk domain names — for the benefit of everyone who uses .dk domain names.
What does this mean for you with a .dk domain managed by Punktum dk?
No need to panic — there is plenty of time. If you currently have a .dk domain name, you have until 30 June 2028 to choose who your future registrar should be. In fact, around every other registrant has already chosen this model, and as of today we are making it the new, streamlined standard.
