A .dk domain name that is registered to a registrant that has filed for bankruptcy is considered an asset of the bankruptcy estate.
If the domain name is to be transferred to another registrant or simply deleted, the liquidator of the bankruptcy estate must send us the liquidator’s certificate of bankruptcy as well as their email address. The documentation can be submitted here via our contact form.
When we have received the correct documentation, we register the liquidator’s e-mail address as the contact for the domain name, and the liquidator can then manage the domain name via the self-service portal.
Until the domain name has been transferred to another person or been deleted, the liquidator acts as registrant on behalf of the estate in bankruptcy.
