Automatic renewal

The registrar model is based on your prepaid registrar account. This means that you, as registrars, must take care of the renewal or expiry of the individual domain names before expiry.

What should you do as a registrar?

Ensure that there is always coverage on your prepaid dealer account.
Ensure that the domain name is set to auto-renew or expire via the use of EPP, or in the registrar portal.
If the domain name is set to auto-renew, the domain will automatically renew the day after the expiration date.
If the domain name is set to auto-expire, it will be suspended the day after the expiry date.
