What should I do if a domain name is registered to a discontinued CVR number?

If your domain names are registered to a discontinued CVR number, you can find the relevant guidance below. 

Registrant with a Danish CVR number

If your domain name is registered to a discontinued company/CVR number, the domain must be transferred to an active company or an individual. 

If you have previously completed an ID check with MitID, you can log in to our self-service portal and initiate the transfer. 

You can also log in with your user ID and password. You can follow our transfer guide here.  

If you do not have your user ID and password, you can request a "Forgot password" at the login window "Log in with user ID" here.

Name server administrator with a Danish CVR number

Role as payer or proxy with a Danish CVR number 

Please contact the domain registrant to change/remove the role as payer or proxy.

Holder of a waiting list position with a Danish CVR number

You cannot update your contact information, and the waiting list position cannot be transferred. Please create a new waiting list position with an active CVR number and cancel the old waiting list position through your login.
