How to recognize a fake mail
It can be difficult to see if an email is real or fake, so be aware of the following:
Suspicious sender
Always check the sender’s email address. If it does not match punktum.dk’s official address @punktum.dk, it could be a fake email.
Amount and short deadline
If you receive an email demanding payment within a short period or with an incorrect amount, it is most likely a fake email. The price for a .dk domain name is 71 DKK per year.
User ID and name included
Punktum dk always sends invoices and other emails with user ID and full/company name
Invoice number
Our invoice numbers include 7 digits. If you receive an invoice with more or fewer digits, it is not from us.
Spelling mistakes
Many fake emails contain spelling and grammatical errors or look unprofessional.
