DAS stands for Domain Availability Service. It is Punktum dk’s technical service for checking the availability of .dk domain names.

DAS shows the availability status of a .dk domain name. The service can return four responses:

  • available
  • unavailable
  • available-on-waiting-list
  • enqueued

No. DAS is an optional service. It is relevant when availability checks need to be integrated directly into systems, for example in a webshop or ordering flow.

No. DAS is used to check availability. Registration and subsequent administration of .dk domain names are handled through other technical services.

The full technical specification is available in Punktum dk’s GitHub repository. It includes information about endpoints, environments, status values, response formats, and examples.

Fast Track Transfer is a technical model that allows Punktum dk to send transfer information directly to a registrar once the registrant has selected the registrar and given consent in Punktum dk’s self-service portal.

No. Fast Track Transfer does not change the transfer rules themselves. The model only changes how the transfer is initiated, allowing information to be transferred system-to-system instead of being passed manually via the registrant.

Fast Track Transfer can be used to automate incoming transfers of .dk domain names to registrar management. It makes it possible to build a flow in which the registrant is redirected to the registrar’s own transfer flow.
